Personally, I love calling AI agents digital colleagues. Why? Because it makes one thing crystal clear: they should make decisions based on the same data as their human counterparts.

Why am I pointing this out? Every data expert agrees, AI is only as good as the data it’s built on. And when it comes to structured data, that soon means working with complex models, layered security, and precisely defined business logic.

That’s why human colleagues access structured data through a semantic layer. And I firmly believe our digital colleagues, the AI agents, should do exactly the same.

I love the idea of using AI to support quality assurance during deployments. Even simple use cases can make a big impact — like using AI to check for spelling errors or to detect if a dashboard includes a pie chart!
